Poetry Workshops with Eric Morago this Fall! Generative and Manuscript Workshops Being Offered!

Moon Tide's own Eric Morago will be leading two workshops this fall in the Whittier area. One will be a generative. prompt based workshop meeting on Tuesday nights beginning Tuesday, September 10th at 7 PM. The other will be a manuscript workshop meeting on Saturdays beginning Saturday, September 14th at 11 AM.

The Tuesday workshop is entitled Your Poem, Your Voice and it is designed to help poets find and nurture their individual style and voice through the use of writing prompts and engaging in constructive peer feedback and discussion. Open to all skill levels. We will meet for 8-10 weeks depending on the size of enrollment. Location for the workshop is First Friends Church in Whittier at 13205 Philadelphia St. Whittier, CA 90601. Cost of the workshop is $75 due the first season. However, if you pay early, you can enjoy a $5 discount. The Saturday workshop starting on September 14th is a manuscript workshop designed to help poets construct and fine-tune a chapbook or section of a full-length collection of poetry. Space is limited to 10 participants for this workshop, and you must reserve your space in advance by emailing: eric.morago@gmail.com. Cost for the manuscript workshop is $60, but if you pay early you can also enjoy a $5 discount. The location of the workshop is at a private residence, so you must reserve a spot before you are given the address.
