Poet and publisher Eric Morago will be instructing another of his poetry writing workshop series for writers of all skill levels!
Workshops will meet on Tuesday nights at 7:00 PM beginning on Tuesday, June 19th and held at First Friends Church located at 13205 Philadelphia St. Whittier, CA 90601.
The goal of this workshop is to have participants generate new poems and think constructively about their own writing, as well as the writing of their peers in a safe, nurturing environment. My aim is to help poets find/nurture their individual style and voice and write the best possible poems they can from doing so. Each class meeting will also consist of a focused mini-discussion topic such as aesthetic, performance, publishing, etc. As mentioned before, this workshop is designed for by all skill levels!
The workshop will run for 6-8 weeks, depending on the size of enrollment. Cost for the entire workshop series is $75 due on the first meeting. You can choose to pre-register though and enjoy a $5 discount. To register early, please send funds through PayPal using the “Friends & Family” option to email@example.com
I will also offer a special $25 individual manuscript consultation add-on for any participant of the work shop who would like me to review and provide editorial feedback on their collection of poems.
If cost is an issue, please note there are a couple of scholarships available. For more information on being offered a scholarship, please contact me directly.
If interested or if you have any questions at all, please contact Eric at firstname.lastname@example.org
Hope to see you and your poems there!
