As some of you know, the award-winning series Penguins Hooked on Macaronics is back! October's show was SRO and we expect a good crowd for November's Election Night Spectacular. And why not?
We are featuring two brilliant and beautiful poets: Ashley Platz and Eric Lawson. Music will be by the wonderful Graveyard Cafe.
And then there might be you! Yes, you! Taking part in a limited open reading!
Of course Bob, the plastic penguin mascot, will be there, and I will host in my usual reckless and life-endangering manner. So, VOTE early and come and have fun with us! (Because seriously, if Mittens is elected there might not be many more chances to celebrate!)
The show starts at 8 p.m. Nov. 6 at the Gypsy Den, 125 N. Broadway in Santa Ana.
