Hello dear friends, strangers and strange friends,

I am more than a little jazzed to be releasing my brand new chapbook, Here for the Friction, this Thursday, August 2 at Vinatero Wine Shop in Uptown Whittier! The night's going to be something incredible, not only because I'll be debuting this new collection of poems that I'm very proud of, but because I have the honor of sharing the night with a cast of other awesome poets who I've invited out to share the evening with…AND…we'll be reading for you at my favorite wine bar, Vinatero! Please join Gerry Locklin, Adrian Wyatt, Marianne Stewart, the night's host Jaimes Palacio and myself in a night of intoxicating words and libations!

The fun begins at 7:30 p.m. and is free, but it is 21+ so please be sure to bring valid IDs! Vinatero is located at 6531 Greenleaf Ave., Whittier.
