I just wanted to send out a short personal note to all of those who have supported the LMU Extension Poetry Series this past year. Thanks especially to Peggy Dobreer for her hard work and unquestionable good taste in booking such a wonderful roster of poets, and for providing all of the materials and web resources to publicize the readings.

My thanks go out to those truly fine poets who graced us with their verse. This includes both our main features and all of those brave souls and budding bards who favored us with a poem or two in the open.

Thanks also to those of you who attended the readings, supported our featured readers, and were ready to help with the various details associated with running a reading series. Thanks to the good folks at LMU, especially Louise Dobbs, for providing such a beautiful space, signage, and advertising.

To those of you who couldn't make it because of your busy schedules or your more-than-justified fear & loathing of LA traffic … but really wanted to come:  thanks for your good thoughts.
