Remember summer camp? Long days of playing in the aftermath of school. Well, summer is here, and even in the grown-up world, it's important to find time to escape, to let your creative self play hooky and immerse itself in imagination and fun. So…how will you spend your summer vacation?

If writing is what calls to you, the next Digging the Well workshop is on Saturday, August 18. Come paddle in our pond!

Digging the Well — a Writing from the Well workshop — is a day full of personal archeology, an opportunity to explore below the surface, down through blocks and muck to the fresh flow of original writing. Whether you are writing poetry, fiction or nonfiction, Digging the Well invited you into a new relationship with inspiration and the writing process. Are you ready to join us? Let's find out where fresh water flows!

The workshop takes place Saturday, August 18 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at a Westside location. Tuition is $75 before August 11, $90 after August 11. Class size is limited and reservations are required.
