Moon Tide is proud to present Raundi K. Moore-Kondo as its August Poet of the Month. If you've been to the Ugly Mug and other venues around Orange County in recent years, no doubt you've spotted Raundi in the audience, as she's a top-notch supporter of other poets. She's also a fine writer herself, and her two pieces published here, "I Never Dreamed You'd Be My Type" and "For the Love of Crime," display her flamboyant style at its best.
Raundi's work has also appeared in the anthologies Don't Blame the Ugly Mug (Tebot Bach) and Aim for the Head (Write Bloody Publishing) and on the blog My Poem Rocks. Her first full-length collection, Let the Ends Spill Over Your Lips, is due out this fall.
