Irena Praitis, Moon Tide's latest author, has a rich month ahead in August — namely, because she's bookending the month with a pair of Orange County readings. This coming Wednesday, August 1, Irena will read from her new collection Straws and Shadows at Two Idiots Peddling Poetry at the Ugly Mug in Orange. The reading starts at 8 p.m. and cover is $3. There are also nice pictures of Elvis and Rudolph Valentino on the wall, for those who like Elvis and Rudolph Valentino.
Then, on Friday, August 31, Tebot Bach will feature Irena at its monthly reading at Golden West College, Community Room 102. That one also starts at 8 p.m. and admission is free. We hope to see you there!
