Dear friends, strangers, and strange friends,

I'm excited to announce my NEW chapbook of brand spanking NEW poems, Here for the Friction, will be debuting at the end of July. I had a lot of fun writing these poems, am very proud of them, and cannot wait to share this collection with you. I will be doing a SLEW of readings beginning late July and going throughout the fall. I won't barrage you with all the dates in this email, but know that I'll be coming around with new books in hand!

Speaking of new…here's an awesome website link you should check out. Litnivorous.com was gracious enough to ask me to talk a little about the persona poem and share one of mine from my new collection. Give the spread a look, read my poem, "From the Loch, to the Monster," and when you're done gander at the rest of the site. They're doing fine work over there!

And while we're on the topic of websites…mine has recently received some cool updating. Head over to www.ericmorago.com to check it out. You'll find a cool "poems" section where you can read some of my classics, view some video, and sample some audio from my CD, I Don't Like Straws. Also updated is my CV (so you all know just how professional I am) and a links page where I show some love sites I frequent and think you should to. You can also contact me directly though the website now too! Special thanks to the man behind the designing, Roger Sponder, for his knack and know-how!

Lastly, while I said I wasn't going to barrage you with reading dates, I do have one reading of interest happening next Tuesday, June 26 at 7 p.m.! I will be filling in as host for Monica Lee Copeland at this month's Indelible Ink at Cafe Bizou in Pasadena. Features for the evening include Ellen Maybe and James Bolt. For more information on the reading or to purchase advance tickets, please visit www.indelibleink.net/index.html.
